Hey, I am Salih.

Portrait of Salih

You might have seen my property videos online. I came to the UK as a student in 2018 and started my property journey while working a 9–5, with no background in real estate. I wanted to build a business that could earn even when I wasn’t at work.

I paid £4,500 for mentorship but didn’t get the guidance I needed. Frustrated and determined to make that money back, I rushed into my first one-bedroom property in Birmingham. Bookings came in, but guest problems, refunds and repairs left me losing money.

Before things started improving, I’d spent almost £10,000 across mentorship, securing the property and refurbishment. I kept learning and putting those lessons into practice.

Over the first year and a half, that single property brought in more than £20,000 in profit.

Since starting, I’ve invested well over a 5-figure sum in training to get better at finding, securing and managing properties and still doing so.

Today, I do this full-time, managing 11 units across the UK, a mixture of single lets, HMOs and Airbnbs.

I’m not sharing these numbers to brag. I was a below-average student who had no idea how this business worked when I started. If you’re looking at this thinking you’re not clever enough to get started, I hope my story gives you a reason to reconsider.
